Product Profile
Product Name Artemin Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Antigen Alias EVN, NBN, ENOVIN, EVN, Artemin, Enovin,
Product description Artemin has been shown in culture to support the survival of a number of peripheral neuron populations and at least one population of dopaminergic CNS neurons. Its role in the PNS and CNS is further substantiated by its expression pattern in the proximity of these neurons.
Immunogen Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hArtemin. Human Artemin specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hArtemin matrix.
Key Feature
Clonality Polyclonal
Host Species Rabbit
Tested Applications ELISAWB
ELISA: Indirect: To detect hArtemin by indirect ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hArtemin. Sandwich: To detect hArtemin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. Western Blot: To detect hArtemin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hArtemin is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.:

Application

Application

To detect hArtemin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hArtemin is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Application

To detect hArtemin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with ProSci’s Biotinylated Anti-Human Artemin (38-107) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hArtemin.
