| Product description | Mouse monoclonal [pS2.1] to pS2pS2 is a cysteine-rich, 6.5 kDa protein found in both estrogen-dependent (breast tumors) and estrogen-independent tissues (normal stomach mucosa). About 60% of breast carcinomas are positive for pS2. pS2 is primarily expressed in estrogen receptor-positive breast tumors and is reportedly useful in identifying a subset of estrogen-dependent breast tumors which may respond to endocrine therapy. |
