Product Profile
Product Name AT8B2 Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Antigen Alias Phospholipid-transporting ATPase ID, ATPase class I type 8B member 2, P4-ATPase flippase complex alpha subunit ATP8B2, ATP8B2, ATPID, KIAA1137
Product description The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of P-type cation transport ATPases, and to the subfamily of aminophospholipid-transporting ATPases. The aminophospholipid translocases transport phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylethanolamine from one side of a bilayer to another. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.1) Bailey, S.D., et al. Diabetes Care 33(10):2250-2253(2010)
Immunogen This AT8B2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 18-47 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human AT8B2.
