Product Profile
Product Name DNAJB11 Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Antigen Alias DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 11, APOBEC1-binding protein 2, ABBP-2, DnaJ protein homolog 9, ER-associated DNAJ, ER-associated Hsp40 co-chaperone, Endoplasmic reticulum DNA J domain-containing protein 3, ER-resident protein ERdj3, ERdj3, ERj3p, HEDJ, Hum
Product description DNAJB11 belongs to the evolutionarily conserved DNAJ/HSP40 family of proteins, which regulate molecular chaperone activity by stimulating ATPase activity. DNAJ proteins may have up to 3 distinct domains: a conserved 70-amino acid J domain, usually at the N terminus; a glycine/phenylalanine (G/F)-rich region; and a C-terminal cysteine-rich region (Ohtsuka and Hata, 2000 [PubMed 11147971]).1) Bailey, S.D., et al. Diabetes Care 33(10):2250-2253(2010)
Immunogen This DNAJB11 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 63-92 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human DNAJB11.
