FEZF1 is a transcription repressor. It is involved in the axonal projection and proper termination of olfactory sensory neurons (OSN). It plays a role in rostro-caudal patterning of the diencephalon and in prethalamic formation. Expression of the FEZF1 is required in OSN to cell-autonomously regulate OSN axon projections. FEZF1 regulates non-cell-autonomously the layer formation of the olfactory bulb development and the interneurons. It may be required for correct rostral migration of the interneuron progenitors.1) Strausberg, R.L., (2002) Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 99 (26), 16899-16903.

Storage Instructions
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store FEZF1 antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μL of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
