Product Profile
Product Name FGG Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description FGG is the gamma component of fibrinogen, a blood-borne glycoprotein comprised of three pairs of nonidentical polypeptide chains. Following vascular injury, fibrinogen is cleaved by thrombin to form fibrin which is the most abundant component of blood clots. In addition, various cleavage products of fibrinogen and fibrin regulate cell adhesion and spreading, display vasoconstrictor and chemotactic activities, and are mitogens for several cell types. Mutations in this protein lead to several disorders, including dysfibrinogenemia, hypofibrinogenemia and thrombophilia.1) Sie,M.P., Isaacs,A. J. Hypertens. 27 (7), 1392-1398 (2009)
Immunogen This FGG antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 91-118 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human FGG.

Application

Flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.

Application

Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of FGG Antibody with HepG2 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

Application

Western blot analysis in A431 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).
