Product Profile
Product Name GATA1 (phospho Ser142) Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Antigen Alias GF1, GF-1, NFE1, XLTT, ERYF1, NF-E1, XLANP, XLTDA, GATA-1, CREB2, TXREB, GAT1, GATA1
Product description GATA1 encodes a protein which belongs to the GATA family of transcription factors. The protein plays an important role in erythroid development by regulating the switch of fetal hemoglobin to adult hemoglobin. Mutations in this gene have been associated with X-linked dyserythropoietic anemia and thrombocytopenia.1) Zon LI, et al. (1990) Proc Natl Acad. Sci USA. 87: 668-672. Trainor C D, et al. Immunogen GATA1 (Phospho-Ser142) antibody was raised against a peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of serine 142 (R-L-S (p) -P-D) derived from Human GATA1.
