Mitochondrial ribosome-associated GTPase 2, GTP-binding protein 5, Protein obg homolog 1, ObgH1, MTG2, GTPBP5, OBGH1
Product description
Small G proteins, such as GTPBP5, act as molecular
switches that play crucial roles in the regulation of fundamental
cellular processes such as protein synthesis, nuclear transport,
membrane trafficking, and signal transduction (Hirano et al., 2006
[PubMed 17054726]).1) Sugiyama, N., et al. Mol. Cell Proteomics 6(6):1103-1109(2007)
Immunogen
This GTPBP5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 78-104 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human GTPBP5.
Western blot analysis in A549 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).
Application Notes
For WB starting dilution is: 1:1000:
