The mitochondrial inner membrane peptidase (IMP) complex
generates mature, active proteins in the mitochondrial
intermembrane space by proteolytically removing the mitochondrial
targeting presequence of nuclear-encoded proteins. IMP1 and IMP2
(IMMP2L; MIM 605977) are the catalytic subunits of the IMP complex
(Burri et al., 2005 [PubMed 15814844]).1) Bailey, S.D., et al. Diabetes Care (2010) In press :
Immunogen
This IMMP1L antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 100-127 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human IMMP1L.
Western blot analysis in mouse spleen tissue lysates (35ug/lane).
Application
Western Blot at 1:1000 dilution + human skeletal muscle lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 ug per lane.
Application Notes
For WB starting dilution is: 1:1000:
