Condensin-2 complex subunit G2, Chromosome-associated protein G2, CAP-G2, hCAP-G2, Leucine zipper protein 5, Non-SMC condensin II complex subunit G2, NCAPG2, LUZP5
Product description
Condensin complexes I and II play essential roles in
mitotic chromosome assembly and segregation. Both condensins
contain 2 invariant structural maintenance of chromosome (SMC)
subunits, SMC2 (MIM 605576) and SMC4 (MIM 605575), but they contain
different sets of non-SMC subunits. NCAPG2 is 1 of 3 non-SMC
subunits that define condensin II (Ono et al., 2003 [PubMed
14532007]).1) Wood, J.L., et al. J. Biol. Chem. 283(43):29586-29592(2008)
Immunogen
This NCAPG2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 729-757 amino acids from the Central region of human NCAPG2.
Western blot analysis in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).
Application
Western Blot at 1:1000 dilution + MCF-7 whole cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 ug per lane.
Application Notes
