N-glycosylation of proteins follows a highly conserved pathway that begins with the synthesis of a¡¡Man (5)GlcNAc (2)-dolichylpyrophosphate (PP-Dol) intermediate on the cytoplasmic side of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane followed by the translocation of Man (5)GlcNAc (2)-PP-Dol to the luminal side of the ER membrane. RFT1 is the flippase enzyme that catalyzes this translocation.N-glycosylation of proteins follows a highly conserved pathway that begins with the synthesis of a Man (5)GlcNAc (2)-dolichylpyrophosphate (PP-Dol) intermediate on the cytoplasmic side of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane followed by the translocation of Man (5)GlcNAc (2)-PP-Dol to the luminal side of the ER membrane. Storage Instructions
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store RFT1 antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μL of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
