This gene is a member of the vertebrate gene family which encode proteins homologous to the Drosophila 'sine oculis' homeobox protein. SIX2 is a transcription factor which, like other members of this gene family, may be involved in limb or eye development.1) Weber, S., (2008) J. Am. Soc. Nephrol. 19 (5), 891-903.

Storage Instructions
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store SIX2 antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μL of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
