| Product description | NPY2 receptor is a member of GPCR1 family and is localized primarily on Neuropeptide Y-expressing neurons in the hypothalamic region of the brain. It binds specifically to the C-terminal of Neuropeptide Y and is responsible for regulation of presynaptic relase of noradrenaline. Reports suggest a probable role of NPY2 receptor in regulation of feeding behavior, energy homeostasis and also in regulating cardiovascular system. Variations in the NPY2 receptor genes have been linked to occurrence of Diabetes. Receptor for neuropeptide Y and peptide YY. The rank order of affinity of this receptor for pancreatic polypeptides is PYY > NPY > PYY (3-36) > NPY (2-36) > [Ile-31, Gln-34] PP > [Leu-31, Pro-34] NPY > PP, [Pro-34] PYY and NPY free acid. |

| Storage Instructions | Store at -20℃ for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20℃. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4℃. |
