Gene Full Name laminin subunit beta 3
Gene Summary The product encoded by this gene is a laminin that belongs to a family of basement membrane proteins. This protein is a beta subunit laminin, which together with an alpha and a gamma subunit, forms laminin-5. Mutations in this gene cause epidermolysis bullosa junctional Herlitz type, and generalized atrophic benign epidermolysis bullosa, diseases that are characterized by blistering of the skin. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Application

WB

HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY LAMB3 (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-LAMB3.

IHC

Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded Adenocarcinoma of Human colon tissue using anti-LAMB3 mouse monoclonal antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval by EDTA solution buffer pH 8.0 at 120°C for 3 min.

IHC

Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded Carcinoma of Human kidney tissue using anti-LAMB3 mouse monoclonal antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval by EDTA solution buffer pH 8.0 at 120°C for 3 min.

IHC

Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded Human tonsil within the normal limits using anti-LAMB3 mouse monoclonal antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval by EDTA solution buffer pH 8.0 at 120°C for 3 min.
