Immunofluorescence staining of U251 cell with FGF1 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody at 1:200, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4C. The secondary antibody was FITC-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L).FC
Overlay Peak curve showing PC-3 cells stained with FGF1 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (red line) at 1:200. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and permeated by 0.2% TritonX-100. Then 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1ug/1*106cells) for 45min at 4℃. The secondary antibody used was FITC-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) at 1:200 dilution for 35min at 4℃.Control antibody (green line) was mouse IgG (1ug/1*106cells) used under the same conditions. | Gene Summary | The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This protein functions as a modifier of endothelial cell migration and proliferation, as well as an angiogenic factor. It acts as a mitogen for a variety of mesoderm- and neuroectoderm-derived cells in vitro, thus is thought to be involved in organogenesis.
