Western blot analysis of anti-Ephrin B2/EFNB2 antibody. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions. After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a membrane. Then the membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-Ephrin B2/EFNB2 antigen affinity purified monoclonal antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody. The ephrins and EPH-related receptors comprise the largest subfamily of receptor protein-tyrosine kinases and have been implicated in mediating developmental events, especially in the nervous system and in erythropoiesis. Based on their structures and sequence relationships, ephrins are divided into the ephrin-A (EFNA) class, which are anchored to the membrane by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage, and the ephrin-B (EFNB) class, which are transmembrane proteins.
