CREB3L1 OASIS Cyclic AMP-responsive element-binding protein 3-like protein 1 Old astrocyte specifically-induced substance Processed cyclic AMP-responsive element-binding protein 3-like protein 1
Molecular Weight(MW)
57005 Da
Function
Transcription factor that acts during endoplasmic reticulum stress by activating unfolded protein response target genes. Specifically involved in ER-stress response in astrocytes in the central nervous system (By similartity). May play a role in gliosis. In vitro, binds to box-B element, cAMP response element (CRE) and CRE-like sequences, and activates transcription through box-B element but not through CRE (By similarity)
Tissue Specificity
Ubiquitously expressed with high levels in pancreas and prostate. Expressed at relatively lower levels in brain
Cellular Localization
Endoplasmic reticulum membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein
The anti-OASIS C-term Antibody is used in Western blot to detect OASIS in A375 lysate.

Storage Instructions
For short-term storage, store at 4° C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
