Dot blot analysis of anti-ATF2-pS472 Phospho-specific Pab (RB12780) on nitrocellulose membrane. 50ng of Phospho-peptide or Non Phospho-peptide per dot were adsorbed. Antibody working concentrations are 0.5ug per ml.
Transcriptional activator, probably constitutive, which binds to the cAMP-responsive element (CRE) (consensus: 5'- GTGACGT[AC][AG]-3'), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters. Interaction with JUN redirects JUN to bind to CRES preferentially over the 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate response elements (TRES) as part of an ATF2/JUN complex

Storage Instructions
For short-term storage, store at 4° C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Purified rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. Then, the antibody fraction is peptide affinity purified in a 2-step procedure with the control and phosphorylated peptides. The phospho-specific antibody is eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
