Sandwich ELISA analysis of adiponectin binding using Mouse anti Human adiponectin as a capture reagent and biotinylated Mouse anti Human adiponectin as a detection reagent. A plasma sample diluted 1:4 (green) is shown
Mouse monoclonal antibody [Adn36] to AdiponectinThis gene is expressed in adipose tissue exclusively. It encodes a protein with similarity to collagens X and VIII and complement factor C1q. The encoded protein circulates in the plasma and is involved with metabolic and hormonal processes. Mutations in this gene are associated with adiponectin deficiency. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2010]
Immunogen
Recombinant human adiponectin purified from E.coli.
This antibody recognizes human Adiponectin. Clone Adn36 has been used successfully in the development of a sensitive sandwich ELISA in conjunction with clone 5H7 as a detection reagent for the measurement of circulating levels of Adiponectin in human seru
