Mouse monoclonal [UCHL1] to human CD45ROCD45 is a member of the tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. B-cell and T-cell antigen receptor signaling is regulated by this protein. The CD45RO isoform is present on most thymocytes including a subset of resting CD4 and CD8 T-cells. CD45RO performs a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Target
CD45RO
Tissue Specificity
Recognises the low molecular weight isoform (180kD) of the leucocyte common antigen (LCA). The antigen is expressed by a functional subset of T cells with memory phenotype. In peripheral blood, UCHL1 stains 40-80% of lymphocytes and all monocytes and granulocytes.
