Mouse monoclonal [DC17] to p31 Cdk5Cdk 5 is expressed in both cycling and non cycling cells and is present in numerous mammalian tissues. Neuronal and muscle cells contain the highest amount of this protein. The p35 protein, which is expressed solely in the brain, activates Cdk 5. Cdk 5 activity is involved in terminal differentiation of neurons and muscle cells.

Tested Applications
ICC/IFIHC-PIPWB
For IF: Use at an assay dependent dilution. For IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1:200 for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 - 20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. For IP (native and denatured): Use at a dilution of 1:200 of protein lysate (Use protein G). For WB: Use at a dilution of 1:100. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.:
