Product Profile
Product Name CEA antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse monoclonal [Col-1] to Carcino Embryonic Antigen CEACarcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA) is synthesised during development in the fetal gut, and is re expressed in increased amounts in intestinal carcinomas and several other tumors. Antibodies to CEA are useful in identifying the origin of various metastatic adenocarcinomas and in distinguishing pulmonary adenocarcinomas (60 to 70% are CEA+) from pleural mesotheliomas (rarely or weakly CEA+).
Immunogen Colon carcinoma cells extract
Key Feature
Clonality Monoclonal
Isotype IgG2a
Clone Number Col-1
Host Species Mouse
Tested Applications IHC-PIPWB
IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1:25-1:80. An incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature is recommended. Enzymatic predigestion of paraffin embedded tissues may be required before immunostaining. For IP: Use at a dilution of 1:50. For WB: Use at a dilution of 1:50-1:100. Predicted molecular weight: 77 kDa. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.:
