Mouse monoclonal [4H12] to COX2 / Cyclooxygenase 2COX2 is a mitogen-inducible form of Cyclooxygenase, which is expressed in response to various inflammatory stimuli. COX2 staining increases in the more differentiated, suprabasal keratinocytes of normal skin. COX2 is expressed in epithelial and interstitial cells of adenomatous polyps and Colon adenocarcinomas.
Immunogen
Prokaryotic recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 30 to 163 of the N-terminus of the human COX-2 molecule.

Tested Applications
IHC-P
IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1/25 - 1/50. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol. We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
