Rabbit polyclonal to DR6Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand of the TNF family through their death domain containing receptors, TNFR1 and Fas. Several novel death receptors including DR3, DR4, and DR5 were recently identified. A new death domain containing receptor in the TNFR family was cloned recently and termed DR6 for death receptor 6. Like TNFR1, DR6 interacts with death domain containing adapter molecule TRADD. Overexpression of DR6 induces apoptosis and activates NF-kB and JNK. DR6 is widely expressed inhuman tissues and cell lines. The ligand for DR6 hasnot been identified.

Tested Applications
WB
WB: Use at a concentration of 2 - 4 μg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 66 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 79 kDa). Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.:
Western blot analysis of 30 µg of total cell lysate from Jurkat (lane 1), HeLa (lane 2), and Daudi (lane 3) cells with IMG-166 at 2 µg/ml.
