Monoclonal Mouse Antibody to Epstein - Barr Virus ( EBV )This antibody is specific to 60 kD latent membrane protein (LMP-1) encoded by the BNLF1 gene of the EBV. Each clone reacts with different epitopes on the hydrophilic c-terminus of the cytoplasmic domain of LMP-1. This antibody stains strongly with EBV positive lymphoblastoid cell lines and EBV infected B cell immunoblasts in infectious mononucleosis.
Immunogen
Recombinant fusion protein containing sequences of bacterial beta-galactosidase and EBV encoded latent membrane protein.
Key Feature

Tested Applications
IHC-P
This antibody has been prediluted to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required. We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.:
