Product Profile
Product Name Ephrin A2 antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description

Mouse Monoclonal antibody [30] to Ephrin A2This gene encodes a member of the ephrin family. The protein is composed of a signal sequence, a receptor-binding region, a spacer region, and a hydrophobic region. The EPH and EPH-related receptors comprise the largest subfamily of receptor protein-tyrosine kinases and have been implicated in mediating developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. Based on their structures and sequence relationships, ephrins are divided into the ephrin-A (EFNA) class, which are anchored to the membrane by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage, and the ephrin-B (EFNB) class, which are transmembrane proteins. Posttranslational modifications determine whether this protein localizes to the nucleus or the cytoplasm. [provided by RefSeq]

Application

WB

Western blot analysis of overexpressed lysates(15ug per lane) from HEK293T cells transfected with empty plasmid (NC) , human EFNA2 plasmid (hEFNA2), mouse EFNA2 plasmid (mEFNA2) using anti-EFNA2 antibody TA501461(1:500). Western blot analysis of the same samples as figure A with anti-DDK antibody (1:1000).

IHC

Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded Adenocarcinoma of Human endometrium tissue using anti-EFNA2 mouse monoclonal antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval by EDTA solution buffer pH 8.0 at 120°C for 3 min.

ICC/IF

Anti-EFNA2 mouse monoclonal antibody immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY EFNA2.

FC

Flow cytometric Analysis of Jurkat cells, using anti-EFNA2 antibody, (Red), compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody, (Blue).
