Product Profile
Product Name ERK2 antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to ERK2 (mitogen-activated protein kinase 1)The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases, also known as extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs), act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. The activation of this kinase requires its phosphorylation by upstream kinases. Upon activation, this kinase translocates to the nucleus of the stimulated cells, where it phosphorylates nuclear targets. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein, but differing in the UTRs, have been reported for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human ERK2. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Sample (30 ug of whole cell lysate) A: H1299 B: Hela 10% SDS PAGE diluted at 1:1000

Application

ERK2 antibody [N2C3] detects ERK2 protein at cytosol and nucleus on human breast carcinoma by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma. ERK2 antibody [N2C3] dilution: 1:500.

Application

ERK2 antibody [N2C3] immunoprecipitates MAPK1 protein in IP experiments. IP samples: HeLa whole cell extract A. 30 μg HeLa whole cell extract B. Control with 4 μg of preimmune Rabbit IgG C. Immunoprecipitation of MAPK1 protein by 4 μg ERK2 antibody [N2C3] 10 % SDS-PAGE The immunoprecipitated MAPK1 protein was detected by ERK2 antibody [N2C3] diluted at 1:500. [EasyBlot anti-rabbit IgG was used as a secondary reagent]

Application

ERK2 antibody [N2C3] detects ERK2 protein at cytosol and nucleus on human colon carcinoma by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded human colon carcinoma. ERK2 antibody [N2C3] dilution: 1:500.

Application

Wild-type (WT) and ERK2 knockout (KO) HeLa cell extracts (30 µg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with ERK2 antibody [N2C3] diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Application

Sample (50 ug of whole cell lysate) A: mouse brain 10% SDS PAGE diluted at 1:5000
Positive Control 293T , A431 , H1299 , HeLa , HepG2 , Molt-4 , Raji , mouse brain , *SD Rat brain thalamus , *SD Rat brain amygdala
