Product Profile
Product Name Firefly Luciferase antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse monoclonal [Luci 21 1 - 107] to firefly LuciferaseLuciferase is a luminescent enzyme, mostly known for its role as a reporter protein.
Immunogen Luciferase protein from firefly, Photinus pyralis
Key Feature
Clonality Monoclonal
Isotype IgG1
Clone Number Luci 21 1-107
Host Species Mouse
Tested Applications ICC/IFWB
For WB: Use at a dilution of 1:1,000 on Drosophila embryos. Purified luciferase protein and luciferase expressed in Drosophila adult co-migrate on Western blots with a band seen at ~61 kDa, representing luciferase. Does not appear to work in immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.:
Concentration 1mg/ml
Purification Affinity purified

Application

Application

Western Blot: Luciferase Antibody (Luci 21 1-107) - WB analysis of on Luciferase Protein

Application

Immunohistochemistry: Luciferase Antibody [ - Detection of luciferase expression in CD34+ cells by immunofluorescence. Cytospin slides prepared from transduced CD34+ cells after 3 days of culture were stained with monoclonal antiluciferase antibody. Luciferase-positive cells have green cytoplasm; nuclei stained with DAPI are blue. Nontransduced, cultured CD34+ cells were used as a negative control. Original magnification, x 40. Wang, X. et al., Dynamic tracking of human hematopoietic stem cell. Blood. 102(10): 3478-3482, 2003.
Positive Control Purified Luciferase protein or Luciferase expressed in Drosophila
Application Notes For WB: Use at a dilution of 1:1,000 on Drosophila embryos.
