Product Profile
Product Name gamma Catenin antibody [15F11]
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse monoclonal [15F11] to gamma CateninGamma Catenin is a common junctional plaque protein. The membrane-associated plaques are architectural elements in an important strategic position to influence the arrangement and function of both the cytoskeleton and the cells within the tissue. The presence of gamma Catenin in both the desmosomes and in the intermediate junctions suggests that it plays a central role in the structure and function of submembranous plaques.
Immunogen Recombinant full length protein (Chicken).

Application

Application

Cell line lysates were separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with 1:500 Monoclonal Anti-Plakoglobin (catenin γ) Clone: 15F11 . The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-Peroxidase and a chemiluminescent substrate. Lanes 1. HepG2 2. MCF7 3. HeLa 4. MBDK 5. MDCK

Application

MDCK cells were fixed and permeabilized with 4% paraformaldehyde followed by 0.5% Polyethylene glycol tert-octylphenyl ether. Fixed cells were stained with 1:500 Monoclonal Anti-Plakoglobin (catenin γ) Clone: 15F11 .The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG, Atto-488 conjugate. Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue) to stain nuclei.
Application Notes ICC: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IF: Use at a dilution of 1/1000. IHC-Fr: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IP: Use at an assay dependent dilution. WB: Use at a dilution of 1/500. Predicted molecular weight: 82-86 kDa. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
