Mouse monoclonal [5D4/10E7] to Hepatitis C Virus NS4HCV is a positive, single-stranded RNA virus in the Flaviviridae family. The genome is approximately 10,000 nucleotides and encodes a single polyprotein of about 3,000 amino acids. The polyprotein is processed by host cell and viral proteases into three major structural proteins and several non-structural protein necessary for viral replication. Several different genotypes of HCV with slightly different genomic sequences have since been identified that correlate with differences in response to treatment with interferon alpha.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide (Human) in which overlapping sequences of at least 90 residues in length were selected from the immunodominant NS4 regions of Chinese HCV strains.

Tested Applications
ELISAIHC-PWB
ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IHC-P: The dilution fold should be from 1:100 to 1:1000. WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 µg/ml to detect 0.5 µg/lane of synthetic NS4 peptide and 0.1 µg/lane recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.:
