| Product description | Mouse monoclonal [W27] to Hsp70Heat shock proteins (HSPs) or stress response proteins (SRPs) are synthesized in variety of environmental and pathophysiological stressful conditions. Many HSP's are involved in processes such as protein denaturation-renaturation, folding-unfolding, transport-translocation, activation-inactivation, and secretion. HSP70 is found to be associated with steroid receptors, actin, p53, polyoma T antigen, nucleotides, and other unknown proteins. Also, HSP70 has been shown to be involved in protective roles against thermal stress, cytotoxic drugs, and other damaging conditions. |

| FACS/IF: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IP(Native and denatured): Use at a concentration of 2μg/mg. WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5-1μg/ml for 2hrs at RT. This antibody detects a band of 73 kDa (constitutive), 72 kDa(inducible), which corresponds to the predicted molecular weight of Hsp 70. IHC(formalin fixed paraffin embedded): Use at a concentration of 2-4μg/ml for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.: |
