Product Profile
Product Name PARP antibody , N-term
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to PARP (poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1)This gene encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of various important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and tumor transformation and also in the regulation of the molecular events involved in the recovery of cell from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia, and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the N-terminus region of human PARP1. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 µg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with PARP antibody [N1N2], N-term diluted at 1:1000.

Application

Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded HeLa xenograft, using PARP1 antibody [N1N2], N-term antibody at 1:500 dilution.

Application

Sample (30 ug of whole cell lysate) A: A549 7.5% SDS PAGE PARP1 antibody diluted at 1:1000

Application

Cross-linked ChIP was performed with Raji chromatin extract and 5 μg of either control rabbit IgG or anti-PARP1 antibody. The precipitated DNA was detected by PCR with primer set targeting to S100A9 promoter.

Application

ChIP was performed with HeLa chromatin extract and 5 µg of either normal rabbit IgG or anti-PARP antibody. The precipitated DNA was detected by PCR with primer set targeting to HSP70.1 promoter.

Application

PARP antibody [N1N2], N-term detects PARP protein at nucleus by immunofluorescent analysis. Sample: HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min. Green: PARP protein stained by PARP antibody [N1N2], N-term diluted at 1:500. Red: phalloidin, a cytoskeleton marker, diluted at 1:200. Scale bar = 10 μm.

Application

PARP1 antibody [N1N2], N-term immunoprecipitates PARP1 protein in IP experiments. IP samples: HCT-116 whole cell extract A. 30 μg HCT-116 whole cell extract B. Control with 4 μg of preimmune Rabbit IgG C. Immunoprecipitation of PARP1 protein by 4 μg PARP1 antibody [N1N2], N-term 5 % SDS-PAGE The immunoprecipitated PARP1 protein was detected by PARP1 antibody [N1N2], N-term diluted at 1:500. [EasyBlot anti-rabbit IgG was used as a secondary reagent]
Positive Control 293T , A549
