CD40 antibody can be used in Western Blot starting at 1 - 3 μg/mL, and immunohistochemistry starting at 5 μg/mL. This product requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections prior to staining eg. pronase or trypsin. IHC Control: Human Tonsil or Spleen
CD40 B-cell surface antigen CD40 B cell-associated molecule B cell surface antigen CD40 CD40 antigen CD40 type II isoform p50 Bp50 CD40L receptor CDW40 TNFRSF5
Tissue Specificity
Recognizes the human CD40 cell surface antigen, a 48kD glycoprotein expressed by B lymphocytes and weakly by some monocytes. CD40 is involved in the process of B cell selection in germinal centers and is vital in T cell-B cell interactions.
Immunohistochemistry staining of CD40 in spleen tissue using CD40 monoclonal Antibody.
