KCTD13 mRNA is expressed in 3T3-L1 adipocytes and THP-1 macrophages. It is suggested that this gene provides a link between cytokine activation and DNA replication in liver as well as in other tissues.1) He, H., et al., (2001) Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A. 98 (21), 11979-11984.
