Product Profile
Product Name MAPK12 Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description P38 gamma is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. Activation of members of the mitogen-activated protein kinase family is a major mechanism for transduction of extracellular signals. Stress-activated protein kinases are one subclass of MAP kinases. P38 gamma functions as a signal transducer during differentiation of myoblasts to myotubes.1) Garcia-Lora, A., et al., Cancer Immunol. Immunother. 52(1):59-64 (2003).
Immunogen This MAPK12 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 336-367 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human MAPK12.
