RGS8 is a member of the regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family and is a protein with a single RGS domain. Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins are regulatory and structural components of G protein-coupled receptor complexes. They accelerate transit through the cycle of GTP binding and hydrolysis to GDP, thereby terminating signal transduction, but paradoxically, also accelerate receptor-stimulated activation. This gene is a member of the regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family and encodes a protein with a single RGS domain. Storage Instructions
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store RGS8 antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μL of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
