Product Profile
Product Name TECK Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Antigen Alias TECK, Ckb15, SCYA25, TECK, C-C motif chemokine 25, Chemokine TECK,
Product description This gene belongs to the subfamily of small cytokine CC genes. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. TECK displays chemotactic activity for dendritic cells, thymocytes, and activated macrophages but is inactive on peripheral blood lymphocytes and neutrophils. TECK binds to chemokine receptor CCR9. Two alternatively spliced variants encoding two different isoforms have been identified.
Immunogen Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hTECK (human Thymus Expressed Chemokine).
Key Feature
Clonality Polyclonal
Host Species Rabbit
Tested Applications ELISANeutWB
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hTECK (100 ng/mL), a concentration of 10.0- 15.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect hTECK by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hTECK. Sandwich: To detect hTECK by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with our Biotinylated Anti-Human TECK (XP-5280Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hTECK. Western Blot: To detect hTECK by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hTECK is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.:

Application

Application

To detect hTECK by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with ProSci’s Biotinylated Anti-Human TECK (XP-5280Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hTECK.

Application

To detect hTECK by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hTECK is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Application

This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human normal small bowel. The recommended concentration is 0.5 ug/ml – 1.0ug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4˚C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen and a proteinase K antigen retrieval. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary.
