Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded cervical cancer tissue using anti-P2RY8 antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 8.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 5% BSA for 30 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (EM1710-43, 1/100) for 30 minutes at room temperature. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors, that are preferentially activated by adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This gene is moderately expressed in undifferentiated HL60 cells, and is located on both chromosomes X and Y. Recurrent mutations in this gene have been associated to cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. |
