Immunocytochemistry analysis of HepG2 cells labeling Beta III Tubulin with Mouse anti-Beta III Tubulin antibody at 1/50 dilution. Cells were fixed in 100% methanol for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS for 15 minutes, and then blocked with 2% normal goat serum for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were then incubated with Mouse anti-Beta III Tubulin antibody at 1/50 dilution in 2% normal goat serum overnight at 4 ℃. Nuclear DNA was labelled in blue with DAPI.IF-P
Immunofluorescence analysis of paraffin-embedded rat brain tissue labeling Beta III Tubulin. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 10% negative goat serum for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS. And then probed with the primary antibody Beta III Tubulin (594) at 1/100 dilution overnight at 4 ℃, washed with PBS. DAPI was used as nuclear counterstain.FC
Flow cytometric analysis of SH-SY5Y cells labeling Beta III Tubulin. Cells were fixed and permeabilized. Then incubated for 1 hour at +4℃ with Beta III Tubulin (red, 1ug/ml). | Gene Summary | This gene encodes a class III member of the beta tubulin protein family. Beta tubulins are one of two core protein families (alpha and beta tubulins) that heterodimerize and assemble to form microtubules. Mutations in this gene are the cause of congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscles type 3. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
