Product Profile
Product Name D-Dimer antibody [DD2]
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse monoclonal [DD2] to D - DimerFibrinogen is the main protein of blood coagulation system. It consists of two identical subunits that contain three polypeptide chains: alpha, beta and gamma. The process of blood coagulation results in the activation of fibrinogen into fibrin by thrombin and fibrin polymerization. Fibrin clot is then digested by plasmin, and fibrin degradation products of different molecular weights are released into the bloodstream.
Immunogen This clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp 2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with homogenized fibrin clot.
Key Feature
Clonality Monoclonal
Isotype IgG2
Clone Number DD2
Host Species Mouse
Tested Applications ELISAIAWB
ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Predicted molecular weight: 0 kDa. Can be paired for ELISA with GTX10054 Mouse monoclonal [DD4] to D-Dimer , GTX10055 Mouse monoclonal [DD5] to D-Dimer and GTX10056 Mouse monoclonal [DD6] to D-Dimer . To be analyzed in sandwich immunoassay, plasma must be diluted with 10 mM Tris/HCl buffer, pH 7.5, containing 1 M NaCl and 0.1 % Tween 20. To avoid non-specific binding, the final NaCl concentration in plasma samples must be 0.5 M or more. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Species Reactivity Human
Concentration 1mg/ml (Please refer to the vial label for the specific concentration)
Purification Protein A
Target Information
Gene Synonyms D Dimer, DDimer
Target D-Dimer
Tissue Specificity It is recognized D-dimer and high molecular weight fibrin degradation products with different specificities. No cross-reaction with fibrinogen and D-monomer.
