Mouse monoclonal [RTJ1] to ErbB 3This antibody reacts with normal gastrointestinal epithelium as well as gastrointestinal and breast tumors, resulting in a cytoplasmic staining pattern.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a site on the cytoplasmic domain of the human c-erbB-3 oncoprotein.
Key Feature
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgM
Clone Number
RTJ1
Host Species
Mouse
Tested Applications
IHC-FIHC-PWB
This antibody can be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Prolonged fixation in buffered formalin can destroy the epitope. In a standard three-step streptavidin-biotin method a dilution of 1:40 may be used as a guideline. When using paraffin-embedded and formalin-fixed tissues, high temperature antigenic unmasking technique is strongly recommended for consistent and reproducible results. This product can also be used on frozen tissue sections. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory.:
