Rabbit polyclonal to PDGF Receptor alpha predilutedPlatelet derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR) is a transmembrane glycoprotein of 170-185 kDa which undergoes homo or heterodimerization into complexes of alpha and beta subunits upon ligand binding, depending on the isoform of PDGF (PDGF AA, BB or AB) that binds. The phosphorylation of tyrosine residues in the now activated receptor can control multiple signaling events such as actin reorganization, transcription, cell growth, migration and differentiation, and also lead to activation of the Ras, Raf and ERK 1 and 2 pathway.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide (unfortunately, the amino acid sequence is considered to be commercially sensitive) corresponding to C terminal of human PDGFR alpha.

Tested Applications
IHC-P
IHC-P: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Staining of formalin fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mMcitrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.:
