Gene Full Name angiotensin II receptor type 1
Gene Summary Angiotensin II is a potent vasopressor hormone and a primary regulator of aldosterone secretion. It is an important effector controlling blood pressure and volume in the cardiovascular system. It acts through at least two types of receptors. This gene encodes the type 1 receptor which is thought to mediate the major cardiovascular effects of angiotensin II. This gene may play a role in the generation of reperfusion arrhythmias following restoration of blood flow to ischemic or infarcted myocardium. It was previously thought that a related gene, denoted as AGTR1B, existed; however, it is now believed that there is only one type 1 receptor gene in humans. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2020]

Application

IHC

Tissue/cell: mouse heart tissue; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded; Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer ( 0.01M, pH 6.0 ), Boiling bathing for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 30min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37℃ for 20 min;Incubation: Anti-AT2R/AT1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated 1:200, overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining.

IHC

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (rat kidney); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (AT2R) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) instructionsand DAB staining.

IF-P

Tissue/cell: rat colon tissue;4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded; Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer ( 0.01M, pH 6.0 ), Boiling bathing for 15min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37℃ for 20 min;Incubation: Anti-AT2R/AT1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated 1:200, overnight at 4°C; The secondary antibody was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Cy3 conjugated used at 1:200 dilution for 40 minutes at 37°C. DAPI(5ug/ml,blue) was used to stain the cell nuclei.
