Product Profile
Product Name HLA-G antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse monoclonal [MEM - G / 9] to HLA GHLA-G belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer consisting of a heavy chain and a light chain (beta-2 microglobulin). The heavy chain is anchored in the membrane. HLA-G is expressed on fetal derived placental cells. The heavy chain is approximately 45 kDa and its gene contains 8 exons. Exon one encodes the leader peptide, exons 2 and 3 encode the alpha1 and alpha2 domain, which both bind the peptide, exon 4 encodes the alpha3 domain, exon 5 encodes the transmembrane region, and exon 6 encodes the cytoplasmic tail. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen Recombinant full length protein (Human).

Tissue Specificity Reacts with the native form of human HLA-G on the cell surface as well as with soluble HLA-G molecule in its beta 2-microglobulin associated form. Specificity was demonstrated with cells transfected with either full-length HLA-G and HLA-G1 complementary DNA.This antibody does not compete with a tested panel of other monoclonal antibodies to HLA-G.
Cellular Localization Cell Membrane
Application

Application

Double surface staining of HLA-G1 transfectants (viable cells gate) using anti-human HLA-G (MEM-G/9) APC ( ) and anti-human HLA-G (MEM-G/11) FITC .

Application

Immunoprecipitation of HLA-G from HLA-G1 transfectants (LCL-HLA-G1) by anti-human HLA-G (MEM-G/9) and protein G. HLA-G was detected by anti-human HLA-G (4H84) and goat anti-mouse HRP in cell lysate (Lane 1) and in the immunoprecipitate (Lane 2).
Application Notes ELISA: Use at an assay dependent concentration. FACS: Use at an assay dependent concentration. IHC-Fr: Use at an assay dependent concentration. Is unsuitable for IHC-P. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.:
